    The SATO GTe Series bar code printer prints bar code labels with a width of up 4 inches and prints p to 12 inches per second making the GTe Series is the fastest thermal bar code printer its class.

    The three models, GT408e, GT412e and GT424e, feature a resolution of 203, 305 and 609 dpi respectively. The models GT408e and GT412e have a print speed of up to 300mm/s, while the high-resolution GT424e prints at up to 150mm/s. The print speed of 300mm/s makes the SATO GT412e one of the fastest 305dpi label printers on the world market today.

    All three models of the GTe Series are designed to meet the tough demands of everyday industrial use, with a metal frame and metal casing making the printers especially rugged. A large, highly legible LCD display offers icon and graphics capabilities and gives system status information.

    The devices are equipped with easy-to-use keys to navigate through the menu and to change the printer configuration when necessary. Developers at SATO have paid particular attention to service friendliness and reliability. The print head may be replaced simply and without tools, and the improved print mechanism housed in a metal casing eliminates any problems that might otherwise be experienced with wrinkled thermo carbon ribbons.

    The GTe Series is equipped with 6 MB of Flash ROM. 4MB for main memory and 2 MB for font storage. An optional 20MB memory cartridge provides expanded storage capability, ideal for housing TrueType fonts, format forms, graphics, history of printed data, LCD messages, and SEMBL programs. The metal casing of the SATO GTe Series and its structure, provide a durable design to satisfy the printing demands in rugged environments.
