The Zebra DS8178-SR is a Standard Range, bluetooth, handheld barcode scanner capable of scanning printed 1D & 2D barcodes. The DS8178-SR scanner provides Blutooth Communication up to 330 feet (with a clean line of sight). As a member of the Zebra DS8100 Series of Handheld barcode scanners, the DS8178-SR is designed for point of sale environments required to scan printed barcodes, regardless of size, poorly printed, crinkled, faded, distorted, dirty or damaged, as well as electronic barcodes on dimly lit displays. With a manufacturer's warranty against defects for 36-months, and able to withstand 6 ft. drops to concrete, the Zebra DS8178-SR is an ideal Bluetooth, POS scanning solution.
